Digital Photographs

This week we have been finalising our entries for the Manawatu Digi Awards.  We've been working on documentaries, short te reo Māori movies, digital photographs and photo stories.  Here are some of the fantastic digital photographs that have been produced - very creative and well thought out photography!

Stay tuned next week for some te reo Māori short movies... we've just got to do the finishing touches!

Super 6 Sports

Tuesday 23rd August was yet another proud day for Whakarongo School. We were once again fortunate to be involved in the Super 6 sporting competition held in Paihiatua. 40 students from years 5 and 6 did the school proud with the way they conducted themselves on and off the field/court. We had some great results go our way, especially with the soccer. Although we didn’t win the competition outright we managed a very credible 4th equal. Thanks must go to the parents who came and supported us on the day, as well as those parents who helped in the preparation of the teams. Finally thank you to the students who made a day a great success.
